Punta Gorda center that rescues hurt wildlife and teaches visitors about it
About
Peace River Wildlife Center rescues, treats and releases hurt, sick and orphaned native Florida wildlife. Its wildlife hospital in Punta Gorda takes in animals every day of the year. The Education Center in Ponce de Leon Park is open to the public daily and is free, though donations help. Visitors can meet the center’s ambassador birds and animals.
